i LOVED that clip! i had one of the bigger bikes which rode like a dream . . it had been passed down from someone . . and when i DID get my cherished Spider Bike, it wasn't as easy to ride . . needed more to pedal to the metal . .so to speak!

It took all my begging and pleading to get my folks to give me $15 to buy my first two wheeler, a blue and white JC Higgins, with a basket on the front. My best friend had gotten a new English racer, and was selling hers. I was able to get it, and from that day on I spent the next four years peddling my way from one side of Miami to the other....
