Those big cars are death traps but nice otherwise.The occupants would take the force of a crash. Wheras now the car takes the impact instead.Crumple Zones,thats why cars get totaled out so easy now.Instead of people dying.A Taurus is almost as safe as a VOLVO etc..And almost any car now is safer then those boats on wheels.I was hit head on doing 65 in a Taurus and only cut my head so it's probally close to hitting a brick wall at 100 mph. I have had 5 wrecks that totaled cars,AND I MEAN TOTALED! none my fault! If it was the 50's I would not be bothering you with this info.I get angry when people think size matters.They couldn't be more WRONG!It's construction period.I've been in the biz 33 years.
