Actually, Larry David was the voice of Steinbrenner. For some reason it was never listed in the credits. My son has been doing some contract work for Steinbrenner, and says he's a really nice old guy.

I've also heard that Steinbrenner is suffering from ill health, possibly that could have humbled him a bit.
