Most people recall Match Game from its heyday in the 1970s when it featured two contestants and six celebrities. The original version of The Match Game aired from 1962 through 1969 and was quite different than the free-wheeling 1970s show. See for yourself. This clip is from 1964, and yes, Gene Rayburn was the host then too.
