It's funny, when you think about all the scientific names they come up with as ingredients for products, like Irium...Pepsodent was advertised for its ability to fight tooth decay, because of Irium. It's generally identified as sodium lauryl sulfate, an inexpensive ionic surfactant. In 1994, however, the FCC chairman Reed Hundt claimed that the Irium mentioned in Pepsodent advertisements didn't even exist!

My brother came with slogan that spoofed the Pepsodent slogan... You wonder when you had a fight when you brush you teeth with dynamite.
