Don Knotts was one of the most underrated comedians of the 20th century. I was really sad when I learned of his death in 2006.

This brings back great memories. My mom took me to Las Vegas with her when I was 13. This was just after Don Knotts left the Andy Griffith Show. I got to see them perform this bit on stage at the Stardust showroom. They had the set of the jailhouse and everything.

To me a great comic is one who can make you laugh without saying anything. Don Knotts was the perfect example of this.
