When they first got the vote in 1920, most women voted for Republican Warren G. Harding. That probably irked old Woodrow too.

That protester doesn't looks like she'd be the life of the party, doesn't she? I suppose suffragettes weren't known for their carefee and cavalier attitudes. They eventually achieved what they sought, though.
