Im Sorry the way the Vietnam Vets were treated majority of which were drafted didnt have a choice But to pray come home alive yup We owe them respect for what they went thru for us and USA Yup

I was there in 1969.Will never forget all my buddies who came home to be buried.I have never been to the Wall in Washington.Too many bad memories for me but I hear it helps to go see it.Maybe I should.............

I was drafted into the Army in late 66. A close boyhood friend of mine joined the marines to avoid the draft. They made me a medic, he was infantry. He was killed in a friendly fire incident. I wish I had gone with the Marines so I could have been there for him. His name was Lance Corporal Donald Lewis Winckler. Rest in peace Skip!

I forgot to mention; I enjoyed this tribute. Funny thing is pictures are always assumed to give one such a good idea of what it was like. They don't.
