Shirley Temple Bill Robinson Dance From the 1935 movie The Littlest Rebel, Shirley Temple and Bill Robinson try to raise enough money to buy railroad tickets by putting on a dance routine. Shirley was seven years old at the time and was naturally able to match one of the world's greatest dancers step for step. Temple and Robinson were Hollywood's first interracial dance team!

I wish the lamentable idea of colorizing classic movies never came to pass! One of the dangers of colorizing black-and-white movies and still photos is that the people doing the colorizing often make wild, inconsistent guesses. Whoever colorized the movie gave Shirley a green dress. In the thumbnail photo I found, Shirley's dress is rust colored!

Watch this movie while you still can. If the nutjobs can get Gone With the Wind banned, the two movies where Shirley Temple plays a cute Confederate girl don't stand a chance.
