the main dudes in the band were Chuck Negron, Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, Michael Allsup, Jimmy Greenspoon, and Joe Schermie.
and now for a little TRIVIA:
*HUTTON auditioned to be a member of THE MONKEES but was rejected . . thank GOOODNESS . .but wait! . .just think of all the creative differences he and Michael Nesmith could have had!
*Negron, a former member of NYC's doo-wop group THE RONDELLS, also played basketball for Cal State.
*Negron pressured Dunhill into releasing ONE as a single . . thank goodness . . .i love that song!
*Wells, an expert fisherman, became an editor for OUTDOOOR LIFE... that's sorta like ALICE COOPER playing golf in white shoes . .don't get me wrong, i saw him last year in concert and he rocked!! but that image . . .oooh
