So much to comment on here...

The non-celebrity must have wondered why he was there.

There's no way I would have recognized Irne Ryan without her Granny costume--until she spoke. Her voice is unmistakable.

Bob Crane's joke about Werner Klemperer providing his own uniform for Colonel Klink was absolutely untrue. Klemperer's family fled Nazi Germany in the 1930s, so he was a big-time anti-Nazi. Crane, though, was ultra-conservative. Klemperer once joked that he and Crane should have switched roles! Nevetheless they were great friends.

I've noticed that people in past generations used to pronounce the last syllable in tomato as 'uh.' That seems to have changed.
