We had one tv in the house. I was not allowed a TV in my room (not until I was 16 did I get one!). So, the extra tv we had, I hooked up in the unfinished cold basement to the ANTENNA and watched on Connecticuts Channel 8 (lived on North Shore of Long Island, got all of CT's Air channels). Sat down there every Wed. w/ my coat on, sometimes gloves and hat, just so I could see that HUNK! :D
