Dion DiMucci (born Dion Francis DiMucci, 18 July 1939), is a songwriter as well as a singer, who is still widely recognized as one of the top singers of his era, blending the best elements of doo-wop, pop, and R&B styles.
"Runaround Sue", stormed up the charts, reaching # 1 in the US charts in September 1961. Rock and Roll just didn't get any better than this!

I've noticed that, it seems many 60's audiences were so much more tame than today. In most clips that you see, even the teens were very reserved.
