Beatles Dominate Billboard Top 5 The Billboard Hot 100 songs for the week of April 4, 1964 was unique: Each one of the top five hits was a Beatles tune: Can't Buy Me Love, Twist and Shout, She Loves You, I Want to Hold Your Hand, and Please Please Me. Seven other Beatles songs were in the top hundred.

One week in Canada in July 1964 every song in the top 10 was a Beatles tune. That almost defies belief.
