Today Fred would be peddling Viagra. Would they call it Bed-Rocks on the show?

Today happens to be the 50th anniversary of debut broadcast of The Flintstones. Although the show was originally geared toward adult audiences in its first couple of seasons, naturally kids were drawn to a cartoon show. These Winston commercials featuring the Flinstone characters have been cited as a main reason why laws were passed prohibiting tobacco advertisng even reomtely connected to children's entertainment.

Gooden Lava! The Flintstones were who I grew up with. I think they should get rid of the Beer commercials too!
