Sadly when I think of Yul Brynner I don't immediately think of The King and I or The Magnificent Seven. I think of this public service ad from the mid-1980s that aired after he died from cancer. Pretty chilling, wasn't it?

Of course he was right, but we never listen to these people who have suffered through cancer and know what it was like. I'll never understand it myself. I watched my dad for years, until he lost the battle, and I'm still smoking.
