I love this clip! On September 14, 1974, Ron Howard, Donnie Most, Anson Williams, and Henry Winkler appeared on The Mike Douglas Show to discuss the success of their popular sitcom Happy Days. The show had debuted in January 1974 as a mid-season replacement and struck a chord with viewers. Very soon it would hit the top of the ratings and stay there for three years. Look at how young everyone is!

Didn't they look great? Happy Days was a good family show, it's too bad that there is nothing like it today. Speaking as a mother, Ron Howard was so adorable, and he's never received a bit of bad publicity!

Completely agree with you, Naomi. Don't you love how polite, humble and repectful they are in this clip? Yes, I've never heard a bit of scandal about any of them. Henry Winkler is supposed to be especially good to his fans.

Very sincere interview! Kind of reminds me when I went to get into an elevator and there was Bonnie Franklin (One Day At A Time). Of course I recognized her immediately and my face must of said it all, but I just smiled and said oh hi! We both only had to go a few floors and when we got off I just said how I enjoyed her work. LOL she seemed so relieved.
Now a days I'm sure more would recognize her!
