Hi. I'm a lurker but had to comment on the great map!

The Everybody Loves Raymond setting was in Long Island, but guess it can't be included since it's just outside of NYC...but Robert was a NYC cop and I think just about every episode had NYC references throughout.

Certainly the main reason so many sitcoms have been centered in NY is because the typical New Yorker is outspoken, opinionated and has a wonderful sense of humor. I just can't imagine what it would be like to grow up in any other place.
