Dear Steve,
This year is he 50th anniversary
of the debut of The Gumby TV Show
on the NBC TV Network.
I know that Gumbybegan as
a segment onHowdy Doody a year
before.
But?
Gumby got his own series a
year later on NBC.
And to this day..he is still
rememebred as one of tv's and
animation's most memorable
icons.
Mr.Nostalgia.
P.S. Scotty McKee(Bobby
Nicholson),Pinky Lee and The
Paul Ashley Puppets hosted the
live segments of the shows.
