Yes indeed it was. I do believe it was 90 minutes. Found it several years ago in the DVD bargain bin for $1... one of those 'Public Domain' DVD releases...

It was a made for TV movie. A lot of people remember Teresa Graves from Get Christie Love and Laugh-In. Teresa also was a short lived comedy-variety series called The Funny Side that was hosted by Gene Kelly. Look it up.

This is the first of two opening sequences for the series. They used this opening for the episodes produced by David Wolper (later the producer of Roots, among other things), then when Glen A. Larson (Four Preps singer-turned-mega-producer) took over, they gave the opening credits (and cast) a makeover. This sequence was out, replaced by a new montage with a fast instrumental theme (Larson was notorious for doing that on many of his shows, like Switch and Magnum, P.I.), and Charles Cioffi was out, replaced by a new boss played by none other than Bart Maverick himself, Jack Kelly.

Those changes, needless to say, didn't improve the show's crummy ratings, nor did the obligatory Laugh-In reunion episode they did.
