Colonel Sanders on Whats My Line I don't know if Lava1964 already posted this WML yet, but this one amazed me, not for the fact that Colonel Sanders was a guest, but it wasn't a blindfold segment. I guess even famous people had days when they were only known to their friends and family. This clip is from 1963, the year before he sold his American franchises.

It's hard to believe there was a time when no one knew who the Colonel was, but along about 1965, our local KFC franchise was called Angona's Chick-n-Teria. We didn't go after KFC, we went after chicken from Angona's. That's what we knew it as.
KFC replaced Chicken Delight as the major place to get good fried chicken, overcoming the fact that CD even delivered!
