Little Black Sambo 1935 My how times have changed. My Mother read me this story when I was a child. You couldn't find it now. Banned for content. Made at a time when cartoons entertained adults too.

I think I may still have this book at my parent's house. I remember it well too when I was younger. Would never be able to have that today. Even with the post of the Ali roast, etc. The jokes made would not be tolerated today either. Times have really changed.

They showed cartoons like this in the 50's as well. No one objected, they were just cartoons, not meant to defame anyone.

This is nothing like the Little Black Sambo I'm familiar with. Didn't he give the tiger the clothes he was wearing and then in the end the tiger chased his tail around the tree so fast he turned into butter?
